Mike’s wife, Ursula, tells ’TANA AIYEJINA more about her husband
What endeared Mike to you?
I like sports and I like sportswear because it makes you look smart. First time I saw Mike, he was putting on a cap, T-shirt, knickers and canvass. I hadn’t seen the face before. He crossed to the other side of the road, later he came back. I kept on seeing him more regularly and I fell in love with his dressing even before knowing him.
Can you recall the first time you met him?
We were not introduced by anybody. I was in my shop and it was love at first sight.
What sort of man is he?
He is a lovely man who you would want to be with. He is so full of life and a social man. He makes thing happen. If he comes to a dull place, he will liven up everywhere. He is a crowd mover. Mike is very romantic; he has everything a woman would want to have in a man.
What is his relationship with the kids?
He is a good father; always there for the children and carries them along. No matter the toiling around, he is always around for his family.
What is Mike’s favourite dish?
He likes eating wheat with draw soup or pounded yam with Nsalla soup.
